Classic 600e Thinkpad from about 2000. Used in non-smoking environments only.
Excellent condition and comes with several extras. Bright 1024x768 screen, legendary keyboard, and everything works. No issues except for the CMOS battery. See below.
Currently Windows 2000 is loaded on, just to show that it works. In the past, when it was used as a writing machine, I ran XP on it.
The main Li-Ion battery holds a charge for about 30-45 minutes. The CMOS battery that powers the internal clock/calendar needs replacement. While the unit is plugged in or while the main battery is charged, there is no problem: the laptop works lke new. If you start it up after the main battery has drained, you must reset the clock and calendar. Kept plugged in, it will not annoy you.
Because of this issue, I will only sell the 600e to you if you know what you are doing!
The pictures are of the actual unit (not sure why it is not showing the 800x600 versions -- email me if you would like me to send them).
$60, firm. Pick it up from my office near the Eaton Centre or in midtown Toronto (Ossington & Davenport)
